DuraWarn Detectable Tape is a colored detectable tape for marking and detecting buried underground services. It is manufactured using two stainless steel wires laid in a sinusoidal pattern laminated between two layers of lead free virgin grade rot resistance low density Polyethylene or Polypropylene. It can be used in conjunction with cable avoidance tools.

It is a detectable tape manufactured from rot resistance polyethylene and bonded with 10mm wide aluminum strip and is not less than 12 micron thick. When buried the steel strip gets in contact with the earth for its entire length maximizing the potential for inductive location.

It is a plastic strip of detectable foil tape, permanently bonded between two layers of rot resistant plastic to prevent corrosion and increase its tensile strength. It can be used for underground pipes and cables.
